Laurelle Augustyn is a singer-songwriter from Toronto, Ontario. While performing regularly at a variety of venues in York Region and the GTA, Laurelle released her debut album, Lullaby, in March 2018.

Blending elements of folk, roots and rock music, Laurelle’s songs are intimate and soulful navigating through heartache and wreckage towards hope and resolve. Her voice strikes a balance between strength, power and nuanced emotion with both clarity and grit.

Since 2011, Laurelle has played acoustic guitar and provided backing vocals in the Derek Christie Band ( and began working on her original music during this time. In addition to her original music, Laurelle's voice carries with ease performing songs by artists such as Adele, Indigo Girls, Jennifer Knapp, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Joni Mitchell.

Each member of the band is a highly talented and sought after performer who has experience in several music groups. They each bring an abundance of expertise, creativity and flair. They are: Derek Christie - Acoustic Guitar, Jon James - Bass, Steve Frise - Electric Guitar, Howard Stern - Piano, Keyboard, Organ, and Rob Greenway - Drums.

Performances include C’est What?, The Cavern, Open Tuning Music Festival, Newmarket Jazz Festival, The Living Room Concert Series, Markham Village Music Festival, Strawberry Festival, Markham Ribfest, The Cornerhouse on Main in Stouffville, Richmond Hill Community Food Bank Music Marathon, The Thomas Foster Memorial Concert Series, Music on Main in Markham, Concerts in the Park at Mill Pond, Richmond Hill Canada Day Celebrations, Songs Under the Stars at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts Piazza, Wintersong.

Laurelle has also spent years singing and leading in a number of church bands and has lent her voice and talent to other artists and session work including albums, The Remedy by Noel Johnson and Secrets by Derek Christie.
