Laurelle Augustyn, a singer-songwriter hailing from Toronto, Ontario, captivates audiences with her heartfelt performances. With her debut album, "Lullaby," released in 2018, Laurelle showcases a unique blend of folk, roots, and rock music. 

Her songs delve into the depths of emotion, weaving tales of heartache, resilience, and hope. Laurelle's voice strikes a powerful balance, exuding both strength and nuanced emotion, characterised by its clarity and rawness.

Since 2011, Laurelle has been an integral part of the Derek Christie Band, lending her acoustic guitar skills and backing vocals. It was during this time that she embarked on her journey of crafting original music. In addition to her own compositions, Laurelle effortlessly interprets songs by acclaimed artists such as Adele, Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow, and Joni Mitchell.

Her musical footprint spans across a multitude of venues and events in York Region and the Greater Toronto Area. From intimate settings like The Thomas Foster Memorial Concert Series to larger festivals such as the Markham Village Music Festival and Wintersong Music Festival, Laurelle has left an indelible mark with her soul-stirring performances.

Beyond her solo endeavours, Laurelle has shared her vocals and talent with church bands and collaborated on various albums, including projects such as "The Remedy" by Noel Johnson, "Secrets" by Derek Christie, "Change My Luck" by Richard Malouin, and "Time Is Now" by Michael Menegon.
